I just had sod put in 3 days ago and while from far it still looks green a lot of the edges of the sod pieces are brown and feel dry, also you can kind of see that a tiny tiny bit of the tips on the green grass are brown. But I've been watering 2 times a day for about 15 minutes in each spot. I have to move the sprinklers 4 times so it takes a little while. But I watered this morning at 7 and it's 4pm and the ground underneath is still moist which makes me think I'm not underwatering but I don't want to over water either. I don't know much about grass so sorry if I left stuff out. The grass is fescue and I live in North western tennessee where the weather is about the low 80's right now.
