I'm in the process of overseeding my lawn. I've used Round-Up selectively in areas and more than 10 days has passed since. My question is this. Should the grass be kept long or short prior to using a slicer and seeder? I've heard conflicting reports about this. The drought last summer left my newly seeded lawn from a year ago too fragile to survive in spot areas without water, which was turned off by local ordinance. But, much of the grass looks good, so I just want to overseed and spot seed. Thanks for your replies.
