I can't believe this

I'm working on a better lawn via feeding and watering. I happened to see an ad for green dye to spray on your lawn to make it look better. Who would ever do something like that?

Too funny!- kind of reminds me of the old commercial for the black "hair spray" that would fill in bald spots on men.

Adds a whole new meaning to the term "spraying the yard".

I don't know if this is exactly the same as Ron Popeil's, but if you want spray on hair it's still available.

Here is a link that might be useful: hair spray

I saw them spray a lawn on hgtv. Getting the house ready to sell I think. Tricky, no?

Professionally speaking I have seen and used a lot of dyes over the years. Not so much to paint the whole lawn a lot, but with herbicides so you can see what you have sprayed.

In addition you will see it used by pros in the south in winter for the first fertilizer application of the year using liquid fertilizer. Again the dye is used to see where the product has been applied to prevent over spray.

Here in the southeastern US, more and more Golf Course Superintendents and Athletic Field Managers are "painting" significant turf areas to reduce the costs associated with maintaining these areas in the winter. As was previously mentioned, home lawns can be "painted" in order to make a property that is for sale look more attractive to a potential buyer.
