Bermuda grass. If you feed it it will turn deep Emerald Green

It doesn't look like any bermuda I have ever seen... nor does it look anything like the common bermuda it is living with. I'll pull some out and take a picture later.

The one on the bottom is the stuff in question... on the top is the common bermuda that takes over everything out here.

The stuff on the bottom looks very different. It is a gray blue when compared to the common bermuda growing next to it. It has the color of buffalo grass and also has a different texture. I keep it mowed at 3/4" and while the common bermuda gets very thick, this stuff just lays out flat.

Here is a good example of the color difference I'm talking about... now imagine having a 6'x6' circle in your yard that's obviously not the same grass.

Anyway, I suppose it doesn't matter what it is in the long run... it's got to go. I was just hoping to target it with a herbicide that would weaken it and let the common take it over.

Jacknife your last picture is no doubt Bermuda. Bermuda is suppose to lay out flat when mowed short.
