| I just put down Scotts Fungicide to treat pink patch- one application at the cure rate. Do I have to wait to use GrubEx and if so, how long? I want to treat the weeds in my existing lawn and new grass areas ( that have been mowed 3 times ) but don't want to stress out the lawn by doing too many things in too short a time frame. Is it better to wait for a cool spell on the Weed B Gone and should I do a fresh cut first before spraying...don't have a ton of weeds because I've been pulling the little ones out of the new grass but have clover, and that little clumpy weed with the small blue flower. Thanks! |

| Weeds should be sprayed when they have big leaves. Mowing sort of chops those off. You are only spraying the leaves anyway so when there are no leaves, it goes straight to the soil and does no good. Wait for Grubex until you have grubs. Do you have a lot of June bugs on your porch light? If not then you likely won't have any grubs. If you do have the June bugs, then wait several weeks and start digging in the soil. If you cannot find a square foot of soil with more than a dozen grubs, then you don't have a problem. Your lawn should be able to handle a certain amount of grub activity. |
