Wild violets have taken over my yard, need advice!!!

Last fall wild violet weeds spread from my neighbors yard over into my yard. These weeds have spread very fast and have nearly taken over my entire yard. Has anyone ever dealt with these weeds before and have any advice on how to get my lawn back? Thanks

Imprelis Herbicide is your friend.

Imprelis isn't cheap - $50 for 4.5oz (not sure what it mixes out to) & not widely available for retail purchase.

Triclopyr works on violets, just slowly & probably repeated applications 2-3 weeks apart. It might work out to be of comparable cost to Imprelis in the long run.

You can find it in Ortho Weed-B-Gon Oxalis, Chickweed & something else @ HomeDepot. Say $11.

weed b gon max worked for me. I sprayed every week, took about 3 weeks but eventually they will die. Have patience is my advise.
