Mixing Emerald and Zeon Zoysia?

I have a 15 year old yard of Emerald Zoysia and recently removed a large playset. I would like to fill the old playset area in with sod and was wondering if it would be okay to use Zeon Zoysia to fill the space. The two grasses sound very similar in blade size and color, but the Zeon seems to be hardier. Is it s bad idea to mix Zeon zoysia in with a large established stand of Emerald Zoysia?

I thought Zorro is top rated?

RE: Mixing Emerald and Zeon Zoysia?

Does the Zorro variety look like the Emerald variety and will it be harmful to introduce it in my Emerald stand?
