| Potasium Sulfate 0-0-50
Why is this Macronutrient so hard to find? I must of called at least 15 places looking for this. I did happen to find Muriate of Potash 0-0-61 whats the deal with this as a substitute? |

| It is more expensive, and demand for homeowners is too low to justify carrying it. You can use muriate of potash, but if you are using it monthly to correct a K deficiency then the level of chlorides in your soil can become too high. Starter fertilizer often uses muriate of potash, but the straight version has 3-4 times the amount of KCl. Chlorides leach readily however, if you have well draining soil, it might not be a problem if you don't overdo it. |

| You can get it on Ebay, that's where I got mine. I bought mine from these guys, they were very helpful too with questions. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Potassium-Fertilizer-Granular-Sulfate-of-Potas h-30-lbs-/170398576979?pt=Fertilizer_Soil_Amendments&hash=item27ac8bf1 53 |

| Check your local Lesco/John Deere Landscapes store. That's where I bought mine. |
