Depending on what other type of grass you have and what you want, their are few simple ways to remove bermuda. It usually ends up killing off the entire lawn, replant or sod, and a few years later bermuda is back.

If you want to keep it, find the Bermuda Bible online and memorize it. Invest in a good string trimmer. You'll be needing it every week.
