Where are you (in TX)?

Did this happen right after a heavy rain?

It looks like earth worm mounds, but it's hard to day without a good frame of reference. Golf course owners hate these things and actually spray stuff to kill the worms.

What kind of grub killer and mole spray did you use?

5 tablespoons of lemon scented Dawn dish soap in a 5 gallon bucket of water. Flush the area in and around the mounds and see what comes up out of the ground. Maybe mole crickets.

really i was thinking more of a critter then earth worms. But yes it was definitely after a hard rain. 2 days later maybe.
the grub killer i used was bayer 24 hour grub killer plus.
the mole killer/repellents i have used are the sweenys mole killer in the yellow cone. spray and granular repellents.
i do also have some type of burrowing creature. their mounds look simular but no holes at the top.
i know because i have un mounded and stuck a hose as far as 2 foot into it and let run for 45 minutes.
pull out the hose and 10 minutes later the hole is govered with fresh diggings.

i finally got one. just picked up a victor black box gopher trap and killed in with in an hour. i am guessing its a gopher and yes i live in texas
