1 foot in 2 weeks.........central blade that grows lightning fast? I'm pretty sure that's not bermuda but I could be wrong.

Thanks for responding, but I'm fairly certain it is not Bermuda grass. What you are seeing in the lawn shot is 100's of the central long blades laying over. Every plant looks identical, and it does not appear to be creeping(at least not on the surface)

I have the exacgt same thing here in NY. I have lots of this weed it grows lightening fast, a foot in about 10 days to 2 weeks. I mow the lawn and its all thick and prickly from this weed. Plus it gets brown at the top and a bit 'thatchy' and is giving me browning spots in the lawn. I used some spray weed killer on the whole lawn a few weeks ago and this is the only thing that continues to grow besides for regular grass. Any help eliminating it ?
