Lawn weed help

What is the best way to pull this stuff and minimize lawn damage? I have a bermuda lawn that is fairly salvageable but has a fair bit of this ugly stuff sprinkled across it. I have a Garden Weasel step popper that works okay but it usually can't grab all of the sprawling root ball of this weed and leaves little divots in my lawn, and sometimes the center of the weed seems submerged under some good grass.
