My front lawn was seeded with a common type of bermuda roughly 5 years ago when we built the house. I would have preferred to have had it sodded but other portions of the build took that money lol. Over the past couple of years I have plugged Tiffway into the thin spots and now have a 50/50 mix of common and tiffway. I have finally rid the lawn of all weeds and hand pull any that show up. Here is my question. When I mow the lawn with my toro push mower I keep getting runners pulled up. I cut at about 1.25" every 3-5 days. Should I raise the mower another .5" or top dress with sand?
