Experiment - Any thoughts?

Just had a crazy thought. Has anyone tried seeding Bermuda and KBG at the same time to have the ultimate self-repairing lawn? I'm in a warmer part of the transition zone, and I'm wondering if this would work or if I would just constantly have a lawn that was half lush green and half straw brown at all times. I might pick a little spot on the side of the house and try this out. Anyone done this before?
