| I have celebration bermuda for near on three years, I cut it with a 7 blade reel mower at at height of 3/4 inch and bag the clippings. We have these brown tops that look like seed heads but the mower does not cut these off. What are these brown looking seed heads and what is causing them to be there? I had the mower sharpened and the knife blade replaced, the sales rep indicated that we were ripping the grass and that is what caused the brown tops.
Please help,

| I cannot see what you are talking about in the picture. Bermuda seed heads look like Crow's Feet, and each talon will be lined with tiny black seeds. If it is seed heads means the grass is stressed. Not much to worry about except eliminating the stress. More than likely too hot and too little water, or not enough nitrogen. |

| Water is not an issue, the screw driver test allows me to insert the screw driver 3-4 inches deep with little to no effort. I have attached another picture, it does appear to look like crows feet. Do you think applying a high NIT. product with iron might relieve this annoying problem? Most of the the grass looks good, but this 15% or so looks awful. Thanks |
