| I moved into a new construction home. The lawn is fine except for along the southern side of the house. The builder put in a row of new sod, but I unfortunately, did not water the sod for a week.
So, now the sod is dead. Because we've had a lot of rain, the rest of the lawn is actually overwatered. When I walk on the lawn it squishes. What do I do in this situation?

| We need more information. what type of sod? where are you located, city and state. Example, if your are in florida and the sod is bahia, then you have nothing to worry about. |

| I don't know what kind of sod. Seems like the cheapest generic kind that builders put down. I am central NJ near Trenton. I bought a soaker hose and have been watering about 2-3 hours for the past 2 days now. |
