Yellowing lawn

I have had issues with my new Bermuda yellowing. It's taken hold and growing it just has a yellowish tint. I've followed the Bermuda bible and have been watering 1" per week and cutting at 1.5" every other day. It's only getting worse. The last week especially it's looking rough. I've got a soil test coming in the next few days to get some numbers.

It's been raining the last two days pretty hard. Could it be too much water causing this issue perhaps.

You mentioned water and height of cut, but you did not mention fertilizer. What have you done in reference to fertilizer? Have you applied anything else to your lawn? Also, pictures would be most helpful.

I've added 1# nitrogen per 1000 sqft the last two months per the bible, nothing else till I get the soil test back. It was like 16# of 24-0-2 I believe for around 5000 sqft.

I can't really tell much from that photo because the shot was taken into the sun. What I can see is a good bit of scalping.

That different color you see is not shade. It's 419 from two different sources. The close stuff is twice as dark as the rest. I thought it was different grass due to that color difference, but I just found out my ph is 5.3.
