I have somewhat clay-ey Nova Scotia soil. It's not rock hard or anything. Easy to shovel when wet or dry but heavy.

I also accidentally have a cubic yard of sand, because when the guy dropped the sand for my paver patio, he dropped off a yard and a half instead of the half-yard I ordered.

Instead of getting rid of the sand on Kijiji, should I dump it on my terrible lawn?

It is NOT sharp masonry sand. It is screened sand and looks more like the sand on the left than the sand on the right:

I'm assuming the answer is no. But my husband thinks the answer is yes. What do you think?
