Hello all.
I wanted to share my experience with renovating my front lawn. I started about a month and a half ago tearing out the old with a sod cutter after spraying with roundup. The old grass was severely infested with annual bluegrass and I could never seem to get a hold of it. After ripping out the old grass I tilled in new compost/ topsoil. Finally came the new sod which went down two weeks ago. I cut it tonight and took some pics. Here is one pic. I cut it as high as I could which was not high enough. The sod had grown to almost 6 inches high. Anyways, hope this inspires others. It was a lot of work but worth it in the end.
