Zoysia program

I'd like to know what kind of program would help zoysia grow as rapidly as possible. I had a good bit of winter damaged zoysia due to sub-zero temps this past winter. I'd like to try and get the zoysia growing as fast as possible this summer to help it fill in the damaged areas.

I can't help with the fastest way to recoup but I'm in the same boat with the winter kill. I removed all the dead and took plugs from an inconspicuous place and installed them. I also remove sprigs and install them to speed up the fill in process.

Zoysia is very slow to spread. SOD farms get half of the output vs. Bermuda because of this. Not sure how to change it.

Like the others stated, zoysia grows slowly. To get the best out of it lightly fertilize with a fertilizer that meets your soil needs, make sure you get all the macro and micro nutrients. Also, make sure your soil is the optimal pH for the variety of zoysia you are growing. Use either lime or sulpher to change the pH if needed.
I can get my zoysia to grow and green up using the above method but it still grows 1/4 the rate or less than the bermuda.
