My Lawn grass is dying, help please.

i have lawn at home, it had small patches of dead grass. it receives sun almost 4 hours a day. i added to it fertilizer slow release NPK 15 almost 4 months ago with urea, then from 5 days i added urea again. and i made holes for aeration of the roots. but today i woke up and saw that my grass is dying and the dead patches are bigger and spreading, what shall i do for my garden grass to stay alive. plz help.

For cool season grasses, you shouldn't fertilize in the summer, as it can lead to fungal disease, which is what I suspect you have. Where do you live? Do you know what kind of grass you have? How often do you water? Overwatering can also lead to fungal issues and weakly rooted turf. Aerating shouldn't be done in summer either, and if your turf isn't compacted it probably shouldn't be done at all.
