| The weather is going to be close to 100 degrees the next several days and hasn't rained in last 10 days.
Should I try to water my 2/3 of an acre or just let it go totaling dormant? |

| I have a much smaller lawn, but from my experience when i let my grass go "dormant" last year and by fall in one particular area it did not come back, i would suggest give it a good soaking especially in this weather, just to be on the safe side! |

| Again, ditto kevin. Some grasses don't go dormant very well (i.e. TTTF). Bluegrass usually does better. However, the problem is knowing exactly when the the drought is "too much" and the grass actually dies. When it dies, it's too late. With TTTF there is very little time difference between dormancy and death. Water it! Turn it on right away when you get up and give it a good soaking! |
