I just paid $80.00 to have my lawn sprayed for leafhoppers and it is also supposed to get rid of chiggers, fleas, and ticks. My grass was full of the jumping leafhoppers who were slowly sucking the green out of grass. The company who sprayed gave me a bargain at 80 buck, he originally wanted 120.00 and left me with a contract for three times a year at 80 a pop. Is there any product that I can apply myself that will get rid of above mentioned insects? Since leafhoppers don't live long do I need 3 applications a year?
My grass is fescue with 10% KB and I live in the Ozarks on rock! Two year old lawn with thin layer and top quality topsoil and then seeded.
