I'm in coastal nc with avg temps in the high 80's low 90's for the rest of the summer.... I overseeded half my centipede lawn with bermuda June 1st and it took very well. However due to unexpected weather and my always uncertain job I haven't been able to do the rest until this weekend. I've put in near 40 hours leveling, thatching etc to prep for this seed and don't want it to fail because it's too late. My wife has taken maternity leave so if I plant the seed I will be able to water enough to keep it moist in the heat. Is that the only reason people say now is too late to plant? Or will other factors affect it?

If I can keep it moist, will I be ok to seed the other 6000 sq feet or so without wasting seed
