Am I watering too much

So I installed celebration bermuda sod 4 days ago. It was hot sunny in the 90's. The sod looked brownish green but I figured it was just stressed and once put down and watered it would be ok.
Some of it is looking ok, some of it isn't. My questions are this:

Is this grass dead? Or is it just the stuff on top that dried out that is dying off.
Also am I watering too much? 2 x a day for 30-45 minutes. Day time temps are 98-100 and this grass is mostly in full sun all day.

Thanks for your help

In the areas where the sod looks stressed, lift up a few pieces of sod and see if it is moist/wet underneath. If it is, then the sod is getting enough water. If not, then the sod needs more water. Your watering schedule should remain as is until you can no longer lift up the pieces of sod. This means the roots are establishing and taking hold. After the roots start establishing, then you can back off the watering schedule to once a day, then gradually reduce the watering schedule until you only need to water about once per week. This gradual reduction in watering should take about 4 - 6 weeks.

Continue to take pictures in 1 week intervals so you can see the progress that the bermuda is making. No, the bermuda is not dead.

I'd bet those "dead" pieces of sod have little roots starting to work themselves down into the soil. That'll show you it's still alive and kicking.

I'm with nearandwest. It ain't dead.

Agree. If bermuda was that easy to kill, nobody would be complaining about it.

I have celebration Bermuda too. Roots growing underneath are a good sign. Any idea how ling it was on the pallet after it was cut at the grass farm?

Whatever happens with it, it's still better than a yard full of basil plants, right?? Glad you worked it out man.
