Everyone seems to have it in my neighborhood now. I've tried Bayer Lawn & Weed Killer (using my backpack sprayer) but it didn't work. It grown MUCH faster than the rest of my lawn. The only thing that works is hand pulling. Its a lot shorter now that I mowed it yesterday (pic was taken today) but you can still see the patches of really bright green.

Do a google search for 'sedgehammer'. I just applied some to my lawn this weekend.

Home Depot also carries a nutsedge killer that I've heard works well, and it's fairly inexpensive.

I'll be getting the Ortho at HD for now to get the few random spots I have. For next season I think I will buy the powder in a larger quantity online unless Scotts puts out a liquid concentrate. Thanks for the info!
