How often did you water last spring...or did you get frequent rains?

How high/low do you mow?

Yeah, sorry it was kind of hard to get a decent picture of it.

Bermuda, not often (for either), fairly low in the back.

Now that I have a name to google, it sure does look like crabgrass. It gets that same reddish tint in the middle of the plant.

Try Image crabgrass killer or weed be gone plus crabgrass control.

Then next spring when the forsythia blooms put down a pre emergent that contains dithiopyr or prodiamine.
