Going to get high humidity 90+ temps and hot nights for the following week here in Michigan starting tommorow.

Was going to not cut it for the following week and water it tonight 1hr per zone with my impact sprinklers, bout the best I can do eh?

90 is hot? That is long sleeve and and jacket weather.

And when you add humidity, that is not a heat wave, that is a cool ocean breeze. A heat wave is 5% humidity, 105 degrees F, and 10 mph winds.

But if 90+ degrees F means heat to you, then yes, you are approaching it the right way. Some people have been known to go out about 3pm to mist the grass. All this does is cool it through evaporation.
