Found this in the bermuda grass today while doing the screwdriver test in the lawn.

We have had a fair amount of rain lately so the yard is well irrigated. I have used about 75 lbs of Soybean meal/1000sgft. ( 25 pounds May,June and July)and 2- 1,lb/1000sqft of 39-0-0 (June and July).

A little searching so far has lead me to believe they may be what are called Pot Worms, that thrive in slightly to more acid soil, but not sure. the article I read sounded as if they are considered beneficial, at least to those who do composting, I am sure someone can correct me if I am way off base.

Thought I would check with everyone here,

The lawn is healthier than ever, I have posted pictures in previous posts, so maybe they are a result of improved soil.
