| We have 6 of the Jacobsen LF 3800's (2 for each of our 3 golf courses). They do an excellent job of mowing our bermuda fairways at 3/8". |

A guy down the road had it i haven't went and picked it up yet he's getting
it serviced and cleaned up for me it only has 40 hours on the meter. He says he bought it for a 4 acre property in California and when he moved here it was just to much tractor for the little 1/2 acre patch. Will do great for me tho since i have nearly 6 full acres of yard (3 acre front and back yard) plus i can use it with my lawn care company I have 4 school football fields i manage and a couple of city parks. These things retail for nearly 50Gs i paid him nearly 12Gs i hope its a good deal. |

| They got em all over eBay. 2 big companies from Florida have a lot of really nice looking units on there. The seller that had the one in the pic has a sweet little John Deere trim and surrounds mower for $5500. |

| I have nearly 8 acres. I'm supposed to meet him somewhere tomorrow sometime afternoon these are the pics he sent me. But for lack of a better word im gonna take it to my local dealership and have it checked out cause i thot it was odd too that the pics he sent me came off of e-bay. He told me that it was the company he bought it from we will see. |

| They still have it CURRENTLY listed on eBay for $9500. It's actually been on there for a while, I think. I check there a few times a week looking for a reel deal I can't refuse. Wonder what's up with the 40 hours thing? |

| I hope the OP is a savvy buyer. A couple years ago someone was advertising turf equipment locally on Craig's List for very good prices. Evidently it was some kind of scam as someone posted links to all the Craig's listing postings (dozens of them) of the very same eqipment all over the U.S. with the seller always being local to that particular Craigs List region and a different e-mail addy. All had the same photos. |

| Well that was a dud deal. Turns out it had more hours than what was advertised. He had paperwork saying a brand new engine was installed at the 1960 mark and is why i was told 40hrs. The meter had nearly 2000 hrs on it. In anycase i didnt buy it dealer said not to. So back to the drawing board.. |

Sorry it did not work out, but I knew something was wrong, as a good used one should be more like $15,000 to $18,000 |
