palisade zoysia is 2 different shades of green

I planted this from sod in April 2014. I had some patches completely die off and replaced them in late May with sod from the same supplier.
The new sod is doing great and has a much darker shade than the original.
I fertilized once with 13-13-13 after planting the new sod.
Is the color difference because of the health of the grass?
Is there anything I could be doing to help the week patches out?
