Hello, I recently built a new house in the West Houston area. I now have a certain grass, which looks like a cross between Jiggs grass or Tifton 85; but doesn't have runners and has a very thick stem. It is mainly in the low lying areas also and very hard to pull up. Any help would be appreciated in identifying this grass. In the picture shown, my index finger points to this grass.
