I can't tell you what they are called but a mix of Triclopyr and 2-4-D will take care of them as I have had both. Mix the two herbicides in a pump up sprayer at the recommended rates and add in a little dish soap or baby shampoo to help it stick. Might take two to three treatments to kill it off but you should see results in about a week. Now would be a good time to spray them since the temps won't be too high the next couple of days.
