I'd need a much tighter closeup of the weed (as most of us would).

But there's a few things you can look at. Roll the stem's base between your fingers. How does it feel? Round? Triangular?

Is this a grassy weed with multiple leaves off the stem? Do you see horizontal stems (either above or below ground) when you pull it?

Almost 100% sure it is Nutsedge....need sedgehammer or ortho Nutsedge killer...watch your temps when making the application. Tenacity also hits it hard.

Also, pulling it by hand won't work, it has a tuber underground and unless you dig it up with a shovel, you won't get the tuber...everything you pulled by hand will come back, need to apply the products above to get rid of it.

Nutsedge sounds right. I've already bought Ortho Nutsedge Killer, will be spraying Wednesday when it's not raining. I ordered sedgehammer to help too
