| So I've made a tons of posts on here about getting my new seeded Bermuda lawn going, and its coming along. I just learned that a city project to replace a storm drain line will tear up and cover with dirt 1/4 - 1/3 of my front law, and the entire back yard as well. The project should start sometime in October, and I'm wondering what to do about the restoration my yard, since October-November is not a good time to plant Bermuda seed. Can I tell the city to re-seed with the same seed I used to establish the yard in May? How can I maintain it to be ready for seeding until then?
Any other ideas? |

| Since it is a city project the replenishment of your lawns should be done by city staff in a prescribed by you time and usually, city departments will work with homewners to satisfy what was before. Do talk to them before they attack your garden by phoning the roads department; make them aware that you are not going to accept just anything they think to replace your yard with. |
