| I plan a complete redo of my lawn this fall. I purchased a bag of seed from seedsuperstore.com with bulleye, monet, and falcon cultivars. Then I bought a bag of Southern Belle with firecracker, xtremegreen, and canyon cultivars.
I set up 2 paper cups in my west window to see a) what I bought and b) how long to germinate. The seedsuperstore mix germinated immediately and I had 4" grass in 7 days. The Southern Belle started to germinate in 5 days. My question is: should I put down the slower growing seed and wait a few days to put the faster down so they might germinate and be ready to cut at the same time? Or does this even matter? I would have bought all from seedsuperstore but too expensive! :-( |

| A two day difference is nothing. Since you will be watering for several weeks anyway, put them down at the same time. Only time something like that could maybe be considered is if you had a rye and KBG. The rye would come up in a matter of days and the KBG not for 3-4 weeks. |

| That sure makes my life easier! Sloped yard so will be putting down Curlex I Quickgrass after seeding. Learned my lesson last year after seeding and having hurricane rains wash all my seed and top dressing onto the sidewalk. |
