new sod this week

hello - would like gthe experts opinions on how they think my new tall fescue sod is doing so far - it was installed on wed & i have been watering as required + the rain we have been getting - i just want to be sure that it is doing what it is supposed to do - any info or help would be greatly appreciated - thank you

What do you mean, watering as required? Required by what or whom?

My suggestion would be to water it 3x per day lightly enough to just moisten the underlying soil below the sod. That will give the roots a reason to grow into it. The biggest mistake with new sod seems to be over watering. You can't water it 3x per day for 45 minutes each time. It is more like 4-5 minutes each time.

Otherwise it looks okay with a little browning on the tips. Hopefully it will look better in a few weeks.
