Once nighttime temperatures are consistantly in the 60's, is a good time to seed. (cool season seeds germinate best when soil temps are 70 degrees or less -approx.: 65-70.)The most important thing about seeding is keeping the seed and top of the soil moist and not letting it dry out. So you will need to water 3-4 times a day for short periods of duration (you want moist-not wet--no puddling..) If weather is hot and dry, you'll need to water more often to keep seeds moist.
