Scalp it with a rotary mower set at the lowest level that does not ground the blade and bag it. It will take nearly a week or so for the RU to completely kill the plants, then scalp before the dead plants lose their upright posture. Best results will be had if you fertilize before the first RU and water for a week to get the weeds and grass growing well (RU works best on healthy growing plants-it does nothing to dead or dormant plants) and to get weed seeds to germinate, Then after the first RU and scalp, water daily for a week and see if anything pops up in the next week then RU and scalp again. That way you can be reasonably sure you've gotten most of the weed seed.
