I'm selling my house in George West, TX and buying one in Bandera, TX in the Texas Hill Country. The yard is mostly dead except for a few shady spots. Water restrictions are very strict as the homeowner's association is their own water company. Watering is allowed one day a week and total monthly usage is penalized if you go over based on bedrooms. It's going to be interesting.
