I have lots of spot seeding to do as a result of dog damage to the back lawn and a few spots in the front that need help. I used the thatch rake to take away all the dead grass and expose the soil, I was planning on putting seed down along with a light layer of soil and some mulch. I don't want to get a bail of hay as I don't need the weeds that come with it. A few years ago I got a mulch that was made of paper that came in pellets. The box store (Orange one) doesn't seem to carry this anymore. Anyone seen this stuff around? It worked nicely for me in the past.
