Probably Zoysia, does it go off color during the Fall and Winter months?

can you pull a few blades out with roots and take a close up pic?

It does go dormant in the winter. Here is a close up pic. The grass is soft and thick like carpet. I thought zoysia was hard.

After looking at it, the blades seem a little finer than our Meyer Zoysia. It may be because we cut ours shorter. Common Bermuda maybe? Can you get a pic of the blades attached to a root (stolon/rhysome). It's nice looking what ever it is.

Also, the neighborhood is about 5o years old. Some of the other yards have batches of the same grass still hanging in there. Cutting the grass short shows a lot of the brown.
