Pre emergent on two month old sod

Hello all.
Really hoping that someone can answer a question that I have been unable to find answers to. I installed sod (KBG) two months ago in Northern Ohio and wondering if it would be safe to but down Prodiamine pre emergent right now. I am worried about POA Annua especially with the tremendous amount of rain we have received this summer. Appreciate the help on this one.

I do not think it would be a good idea. Most pre emergents are root growth inhibitors. The new sod needs to grow roots to become established.
