(another) What is this question

Well I had 2 invasive species taking over more and more of my yard until recently I identified nutsedge, got some sedgehammer, and oh boy, does that stuff work great. It is really spreading fast in my neighbors yard.

The other grass has been appearing every year, in small patches. A bit more each year. It is actually a nice grass, grows very low, almost wouldn't need mowing, nice color and is very soft to the touch. But it stands out in my nearly 100% KBG lawn and in mid to late summer, patched of it completely die off, while other patches thrive.

Here's some pics:

Can anybody identify it and tell me how to eradicate it??

TIA
