| I have grown Annual ryegrass as a green manure with great success. Is the perennial variety pretty much the same thing in terms of ease of germination and durability? I am trying to seed some areas that have been dominated by bermuda grass, and trying to brainstorm my best option to outgrow the bermuda. |

| Pretty much, but trying to outgrow Bermuda with perennial ryegrass is a losing proposition (or any grass for that matter). When the PR struggles in the heat and drought of summer the Bermuda will be thriving. The only way to outcompete Bermuda is to kill it all, and that's not easy either. |
