| A section of my lawn was in pretty bad shape. I killed off the weeds and did an aggressive dethatch. Yesterday I put down some loam as a top dress and seeded. The area that needed the work was larger than I thought and the remaining grass was a little thinner in spots than I anticipated. The overseed mix I purchased called for a 1 lb / 1000 application for a true overseed. I was hoping to go a little heavy given the sparse grass in some places, but I did not have enough seed to do so. I just ordered some more seed, but it will take a week to get here. Will I be ok doing a second seed application once it arrives? This is KBG so there probably won't be any seedlings at the time of the second app. |

| You'll be OK. I do this all the time. Put down seed and for one reason or another it doesn't germinate in a few spots, so I put down more seed in those areas. You'll have to water a week or so more than usual, but not really a big deal. |
