How to replace a patch of Bermuda grass

Hi

I think I have a patch of Bermuda grass in my front yard. I attached a picture, so maybe someone can correct me if in wrong. It grows OK, but is inconsistent with the rest of my grass. What is the most effective way to replace it with another type of grass? I wouldn't think over seeding would work as I suspect that a little would still survive even after many applications season after season. Tilling the area would get rid of a lot but since it creeps along, I'm thinking that too would leave enough remnants for it to come back. So, the only options I can think of are to cover the area so it dies off and then till and reseed or very carefully spray with roundup, wait a week, till and then seed. At this point I will wait until spring, but wanted to get some thoughts. Thank you
Doug
