| We're power raking the lawn this weekend to prepare it for overseeding. Any tips for power raking success would be appreciated. Should power raking be done when grass is moist or dry?
We plan to pick up the raked up thatch. Can this thatch material be used as mulch on my flower beds? Does the thatch contain a lot of weeds or issues that I wouldn't want to pile on my flower beds? |

| It can be used as material for a compost pile, but with the huge amount of seeds likely in it would not make for good mulch. |
