Texas Take All - Please help!

Last fall my front yard was "taken" by Texas Take All. It was confirmed at the extension office. I applied Spectrum Immunovox at their direction. This spring, I re-sodded with St. Augustine grass. The fungus has come back and almost all of the grass has died. I put two more applications of Immunovox down and it kept dying. So I called the extension office again and they said to put down peat to acidify the soil. I did at the rate recommended by Texas A&M. I also have used a compost tea and Medina Soil Activator to try and start to remedy the soil issues. I have also put down 2 bags of Milorganite. The fungus continues to spread and the grass is still dying.

The area in question is 1800 sg ft, in full sun from about 10am to 6pm. There is a strip of shaded area that is still healthy. I am seeing some new growth of St. Augustine in the areas that originally died. My shady back yard is unaffected.

What do I do???

First thing to do is forget the compost, studies at TAMU indicate it does not help much if at all.

Best approach is using the fungicides Terraguard (4 - 8 oz/gal) or Bayleton (2 oz/gal) coupled with applications of sphagnum peat moss.
