It took about 9 days for my Fescue Sod to root...

It wasn't looking so good on day 2, but a lot of water, a little patience and it's finally starting to green up. I just did the first mowing and it's looking pretty good.

Here in KC (suburbs) our lawns are mostly a mixture of KBG, TTTF and K31 (unfortunately!).

I had removed an overgrown and diseased pine tree from the middle of my front yard about a month ago, planted seed, and it turned out the soil was highly acidic from the pine needles, and it killed the seed. I excavated about 4" and replaced with topsoil, then planted the sod 9 days ago.
